This isn’t about me – it’s about you, the women of Scotland, you and your friends, mums, aunties, cousins, sisters. The ones who’ve been battered, bruised, hurt, wounded, damaged, abused and silenced.

No more.

This Scottish Government campaign about violence against women and girls is corrupted  as we’re ruled by a government refusing to define woman in biological terms – as if there were any other valid definition.

Every woman, SPAD, MSP, civil servant who enabled, enabled, the corruption of our language, services, rights and responsibilities  towards women and girls deserves a P45.

It culminated in a man punching a woman today  in broad daylight, confident that the political and policing landscape would permit such, turn a blind eye to his cruel violent hurtful conduct on the ground that his feelings might be hurt for he’s a man who says he’s a woman and all of us should see him as such, not as a  potential predator; one  who might want to flash himself at women and girls for kicks.

So for the sake of the hits, I’ll say it again – a man can’t ever become a woman; gender reassignment is a protected characteristic but claiming it doesn’t make a sex change, neither does castration or the creation of confected genitals. Women need single sex spaces because some men are dangerous nutters and we don’t know, never will tell the difference. Rights matter, feelings don’t.
