LIBERATE SCOTLAND
Scotland’s party politicians are responsible for voter apathy. In short compass, the electorate is scunnered. Scunnered because of broken promises made since at least 2015. Scunnered because Brexit wasn’t stopped. Scunnered because that promised Constitutional Convention never came to pass. Scunnered because that no if’s no but’s referendum – keep the date – 19 October 2023 – was always a fairy story. Scunnered because those who made a fortune by promising the sun, moon and stars are exiting the stage with bursting wallets, hefty bank accounts and fat bums as the people of Scotland hunger and freeze, losing hope, losing a grip on reality and fearing tomorrow.
You will perch on your oil rig in the North Sea tonight, or atop your wind turbine and gaze ashore to a lonely ravaged landscape of food banks, baby banks, school clothing banks, people seeking a heat soon in libraries and supermarkets alias warm banks. Poverty in a land of plenty.
Those who dangle carrots will tell you that only Both Votes SNP brings hope. They are useless faithless charlatans. They know that support for the cause is beyond 50% and a united campaign where all independence votes count will deliver an internationally recognised and legitimate mandate to negotiate our country’s freedom, our saltire’s place between Saudi Arabia and Senegal. Instead of this selfless crusade, you will hear that voting for a party on 35% support will somehow persuade Westminster to authorise a second IndyRef. We’re not that stupid, are we ?
It stands to reason that regaining Scotland’s independence requires an electoral event where there’s a majority of the popular vote and a majority of seats for independence. The answer is one independence candidate in every constituency and a managed presence on the list. With that there will be a supermajority and the eyes of the world will be upon Scotland. The UN will have no option but to recognise an overwhelming popular vote for independence and a majority of elected reps for our self determination. Scotland will flourish when partisan interest is ditched and we prioritise common cause. For we fight not for glory, honour nor riches but only and alone for freedom.
That freedom we cherish is what we need now to address poverty, reward our workers appropriately, educate, house, feed our population and maintain our health. Independence Nothing Less.
